Kennedy, Caroline, is taking a lot of heat in her push for the New York senate seat being vacated by HRC. Some have taken to calling her the Democrat's "Sarah Palin." One point of contention, along with the usual carpet bagging harrumphes, is her vast fortune. Nearly half of her estimated $100-million net worth is reported to be the quaint little Aquinnah estate that Jackie left.

Cathy Goudy of American Real Estate tells the Daily News that the property would sell for between $50-75-million.  Is that a current depression price? According to MSNBC, if Kennedy were appointed she would be one of the wealthiest members of the senate, along with uncle Ted.
